I love to snack on olives

Olive Bar at the whole food store $9.99 lb.,a bit expensive.

Olives are high in Iron,Vitamin E,Copper and a great source of fiber.

Here's a little recipe just an example how you can marinate and seasons your own olives and create pickled olives. You can change things up a bit to your liking.

Delicious Italian Olives

2 quart jars filled with olives and marinade

2/3 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon minced parsley
1½ tablespoons dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried thyme
3 cloves garlic, mashed
36 ounces green and black olives, drained
Green pepper slices, 1/4-inch thick

Mix vinegar, oil, salt, parsley, oregano, thyme, and garlic. Pour marinade over olives. Put in a covered jar, refrigerate and shake from time to time.  keep olives in refrigerator for up to two weeks. Bring to room temperature before serving. The day before snacking, add green pepper.
