Qoutes for the day

Ninety percent of the world’s woe comes from people not knowing themselves, their abilities, their frailties, and even their real virtues. Most of us go almost all the way through life as complete strangers to our selves.----Sidney J. Harris

We should know what our convictions are, and stand up for them. Upon one’s own philosophy, conscious or unconscious, depends one’s ultimate interpretation of facts. Therefore it is wise to be as clear as possible about one’s subjective principles. As the man is, so will be his ultimate truth--Carl Jung

“Self-searching is the means by which we bring new visions, action, and grace to bear upon the dark and negative side of our natures. With it comes the development of that kind of humility that makes it possible for us to receive God’s hell….we find that bit by bit we can discard the old life--the one that did not work--for a new life that can and does work under conditions whatever.”--As Bill Sees It

Qoutes for the day

A wise man should have money in his head, but not in his heart.
Jonathan Swift (1667 - 1745

Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.

Franklin D. Roosevelt

Look to your health; and if you have it, praise God, and value it next to a good conscience; for health is the second blessing that we mortals are capable of; a blessing that money cannot buy.

Izaak Walton

After A While

This poem is the best poem,I have ever read and I absolutely love it.

Author: Veronica A. Shoffstall

After a while

you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul
and you learn love doesn't mean leaning and company doesn't always mean security.
And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't always promises
and you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and and your eyes ahead with the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build all your roads on today because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.
After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much
So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers
And you learn that you really can endure, that you really are strong and you really do have worth and you learn and you learn
with every good-bye you learn.

Qoute of the day

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Maryanne Williamson quotes

Delicate flowers, Beautiful pearls

I want to pay homage to beautiful women all over the world. I call women Delicate flowers, Beautiful pearls;because I believe that’s what we are. Beautiful women come in every shapes, sizes and colors.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes. Because that is the doorway to her heart. True beauty of a woman is reflected in her soul. The passion she shows, the place where love resides.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

If I speak in the tongues of men and angels,
but have not love,
I have become a sounding brass or a tinkling symbol.

And if I have prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge,
and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains,
but have not love, I am nothing.

And if I dole out all my goods, and
if I deliver my body that I may boast
but have not love, nothing I am profited.

Love is long suffering,
love is kind,
it is not jealous,
love does not boast,
it is not inflated.

It is not discourteous,
it is not selfish,
it is not irritable,
it does not enumerate the evil.
It does not rejoice over the wrong, but rejoices in the truth

It covers all things,
it has faith for all things,
it hopes in all things,
it endures in all things.

Love never falls in ruins;
but whether prophecies, they will be abolished; or
tongues, they will cease; or
knowledge, it will be superseded.

For we know in part and we prophecy in part.

But when the perfect comes, the imperfect will be superseded.

When I was a child,
I spoke like a child,
I reckoned like a child;

when I became [an adult],
I abolished the things of the infant.

For now we see through a mirror in an enigma, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know as also I was fully known.

But now remains
faith, hope, love,

these three;

but the greatest of these is love.

Food for thought

Rich people who have more than enough learn to depend on their money,People who have nothing learn to depend on their faith and God to gain their abundance.--Nancy Toussaint

Wisdom from the bible

"And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him" (1 John 5:14,15, KJV).

Wisdom from the Bible

"All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness."
Hebrews 12:11

My first mind movie-Believe in yourself

So I hear we are going through a recession

And perhaps,a possible depression. I'm not worried about a recession or a depression,I'm keeping my eyes on faith, manifesting my heart desires. I'm focusing on beings positive and remaining faithful no matter what comes my way. These are the few things I do to keep my mind focus and not concentrate on being negative.

1)keeping a journal-I write in my journal daily--My disappointments,my fear,my blessings,my hopes and dreams. I also write everyday how grateful I'm--something I learned from Rhonda Barnes,http://thesecret.tv/ from the secret is when you want something,or,are trying to manifest something--Don't write I want this or that, instead say or write,I'm grateful now that I'm getting the raise I wanted. Try it,it works.

Gratitude is one of the most important aspects you need in creating your heart desires.

Something else I do every single night and morning is meditate,I meditate while listening to Kelly Howell on my Ipod,I actually bought a headphone that stays on my ears all night and created a play list for some of her Guided meditations and listen to it all night,it's very therapeutic--made tremendous changes in my life. Here's Kelly Howell website, she is absolutely wonderful: http://www.brainsync.com/

Even though the economy is suffering, it doesn't mean we have to suffer mentally, spiritually and even financially. Find ways to stay happy and blessed. Learn a new hobby,a new trade, read more books and spend more time with your family.

I choose to feel neither recessed nor depressed and I truly think this mindset has allowed me to prosper and will allow me to continue to prosper regardless of what's going on around me.

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
Isaiah 41:10

one of my favorite bible passages is Psalms 23:
A psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Unconditional love

I believe that I'm one of the most misunderstood person I've ever met. It is something I believe I need to work on. I've made a lot changes and progress in my life,I'm a very weird complex person,I've always been the odd-ball in social groups, the one outside looking in. For a long time I hated myself,I always wish I was someone else. For a long time I felt like I was worthless and that I would never be good enough. It took me a long time, to learn to love the skin I'm in. Now that I'm getting older I'm learning to love myself, every inch of who I'm. I'm not perfect all--but I love myself and that is a big step for me--in my life at this moment. No one will love you unconditionally except for you and God.

Everything happens for a reason

For this past two weeks,I have been going through a lot of turmoil and confusion, yet at the same token, have gotten so much great ideas to pursue my goals. November has been my worst and best month. The relationships in my life I thought were solid are not as solid as I thought they were, ugly things are coming out of my personalty and the people I thought had my back--things are in shambles. Despite all of this,I believe this is my best month,God is testing me;he is testing my strength,he is testing my comfort levels. I must say I love it,I feel like I'm being cleanse--things that needed to be revealed are being revealed. For the past two days I've been more emotional than I've ever been, and I don't know what's going on with me. I don't know why a relationship with someone, I trusted and depended on is going through in such shambles, but I'm ready to find out. I will put my trust and faith in God and I know everything will be okay.

The first 20 minutes ot the secret

I'm still a working progress

I'm finding out that no-matter how much of a progress you've made in your life or how good you think your life is or going to be--we're still a working progress. This week things are not going my way at all. I find myself questioning my own faith and beliefs. Life is really a mental battlefield, sometimes I find myself struggling to stay positive and have faith;I find myself fearful, faithless and emotional sometimes and I ask myself what is wrong me--what is going on. But,I must remain strong and believe that this is all a test. This is all a test and tomorrow will be another day,I must remain strong and believe that everything will unfold as they should be unfolding.

My idea of a soulmate

Nancy Toussaint

A man who thinks with his heart and mind
A man who is spiritual and loves God
A man who loves music and the arts
A man that is pleasing to my eyes and soul

A man of character, honor and great respect
A man of intelligence, wisdom and understanding
A man of kindness, generosity and compassion
A man who is romantic and a dreamer
A man who is loyal, trustworthy and dependable

A man who loves me with every inch of his bieng
and to the depths of his soul
A man who is my best friend,my soul mate
In order for me to find my soul mate I must first
figure out what my own soul is.

Pieces of you

By Nancy Toussaint

Why go hate another human life
simply because of the color of his skin.
Why do you hate another human life
simply because of his religion
why do you hate him he is pieces of you.

The only thing that differentiate one human life to
another is the amount of melanin in the skin,
culture experiences and beliefs in life.
Aside from that we are all flesh and bones
pieces of one another

We all want to be loved and be accepted
for who we are,we all want to know that we have
worth. we share a common bond, our blood
we human beings are so different
yet we are all the same
we are pieces of one another.

Promise Yourself

Also known as The Optimist's Creed

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet. To make all your friends feel that there is something in them. ~ To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. To think only of the best, and expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

~ C.D. Larson
